Fertility Care
For all of the fertility services offered at Womb For Growth, a 30 minute consultation with comprehensive history is required.  It is a separate scheduling option which can be paired with any fertility service.   Being separate, it does necessitate some careful planning when scheduling your first visit combined with a fertility service.  You will notice that you have two choices when scheduling the initial consultation;  The 30 minute and the 60 minute consultation.   If you have an extensive history of health challenges and/or abdominal surgeries please choose the 60 minute consultation.  We will only charge you for the time used, not the time allotted.
We apologize for the unavoidable complexity in scheduling your first fertility service.  This was actually the only way to ensure that we could provide you with the best and most appropriate care.  Rest assured that the initial consultation will only need to be completed once no matter which fertility services you subsequently choose.  Please call us if you have any difficulty and we will be more than happy to assist you.  We can even arrange to complete the initial consultation over the phone with Dr. Holland if that is most convenient for you.

Consultation fee is $60/30 minutes or $120/60 minutes. Consultation and services may be scheduled back to back or separately.  The fertility services are as follows:

    Vaginal Steams
    ($45 for a 45 minute session)

Called Bajos in Latin America and Chai-Yok in Korea, vaginal steams provide healing and relief from various female ailments. They are believed to increase circulation to the pelvic floor and reproductive organs thereby improving the function and health of those tissues. Soothing and therapeutic, vaginal steams are thought to help women with the following:
    Vulvar or perineal pain
    Menstrual irregularity or painful menses
    Infertility
    Vaginal dryness
    Chronic infections
    Hemorrhoids
    Fibroids

*Vaginal steams are not to be done during pregnancy, heavy menstrual bleeding, or active infection. Vaginal steams can be used in conjunction with the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy to achieve reproductive health.

    Castor oil pack treatment $45
    ($45 for a 45 minute session)

Some of the numerous uses for Castor oil include the treatment of breast cysts, fibroids, ovarian cysts, congestion of abdominal organs, and adhesions from surgery. Wherever there is congestion, scar tissue, decreased circulation and a need for healing, castor oil can be an effective treatment.

Expect to relax for 45 minutes while the castor oil pack is in place. The pack consists of a piece of wool flannel, saturated with castor oil. We place the pack directly over the area to be treated. A heat source is then applied over the area.

(Castor oil packs are sold separately and we are happy to use one that you bring to the session.)

    Cesarean recovery session
    ($70 for a 30 minutes session)

For all of us who have experienced a cesarean birth, the scar tissue is a constant reminder of a birth that did not go as planned. Scar tissue and adhesions can create discomfort aesthetically, emotionally, and physically. The adhesions can present obstacles to or difficulty with future pregnancies. In some cases, the scar tissue can cause pain with intercourse or daily activities. In most cases, these complications can be reversed. The 30 minute cesarean recovery session includes the following:

Abdominal and Scar Tissue Massage (with pressure to your comfort) Pelvic Lymphatic drainage (a light massage to flush the lymphatic fluid from the pelvis and abdomen)
    Myofascial release around the scar
Cold Laser to further stimulate the breakdown of scar tissue and accelerate healing
Use of specific essential oils for scar tissue healing
Instruction on the use of castor oil packs over the scar to use at home. (Castor oil packs are sold separately)
